Amazing, the shot is so well framed, it's all about being in the right place time, at the right time I suppose.
Hope no lives were lost .....

@---------Photo-Spice----------: To my knowledge, no one was injured physically. I did talk the the woman who owned the property, it had been in her family for a few generations. Her Mom once owned it. Through tears she told me that she had been working on improvements and had just finished paying for a new roof.

Stu from Scotland | Living in 京都 Kyoto, Japan

Crackin' shot! Like a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster. As Calusarus said, very professional.

Dutçh from Chicagoland, United States

So sad to hear the owners story but it does give you insight that people have lives behind them, they aren't just statistics. And that man there may not have saved her house but he is a hero for what he does every day.

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

Beautiful composition with the fireman in front of the building that is engulfed in flames. I love the expression you've captured on his face as well. Tragic end to a home that had been in the family for so long. Thankfully no one was hurt.
