Dragon Wagon

Mission Statement:
To document the city in an attempt to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of Detroit, her buildings, and her people.

The above 60 foot long, 20 high, V8 engine powered four wheel drive, fire spitting dragon, complete with multiple couches and a wet bar (for your comfort), is why I love the City of Detroit. I was driving home on a sunny Sunday afternoon when out of the corner of my eye I spotted the above dragon wagon in a public park with live bands, and a serious dodgeball game all done as an impromptu block party. There are other cities in the world and they all have their pros and cons but no place spits fire like Detroit!

Speramus meliora; resurget cineribus.
We hope for better things; it will arise from the ashes.

Haha-Someone had fun making that, and I can imagine the conversation with the licensing people.."So, you want to build a 4 wheel drive, fire spiting dragon-with a bar, and you want to use it in a public place??!! Sir, you have to be kidding!!!!!

Man-o-man. What an amazing piece of art and machinery. I think we need to accompany this work of art to the Burning Man project in the Nevada Desert. This kind of thing makes my day.

Far out, as they used to say. You are right, Detroit seems to have some special things going for it, including this fire-spitting dragon. :-)
