1949 Caddy

I spent some time at Autorama this past weekend, and fell in love with this 1449 Cadillac. This car was the first Cadillac to be produced after car production halted during World War II, the time Detroit became known as "The Arsenal of Democracy".

Mission Statement:
To document the city in an attempt to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of Detroit, her buildings, and her people.

Love how you shot this and presented it with an aire of mystery and intrigue! Just how the cadillac would have been seen by many who could not afford it in 1949!!
