All too familiar, only our smokey scenes are entire mountains exploding in flames, so much burned here in the Northwest. Santanas or Chunooks as we call them, blew all summer. Lightning made for major wildfires. A number of tossed cigs and fireworks caused almost half. Minimum homes burnt! still it made for a strange undercurrent of anxiety all summer.
