Meadows of Detroit

Mission Statement:
To document the city in an attempt to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of Detroit, her buildings, and her people.

Speramus meliora; resurget cineribus.
We hope for better things; it will arise from the ashes.

Stupid comment. Meadows are the last thing I think of when picturing Detroit. My eyes have been opened

@CElliottUK: Meadows are both a blessing for us & a curse, Detroit's land mass is 142.87 square miles (370.03 km2), and 4.12 square miles (10.67 km2) of open water. I will be posting more photos related to meadows, urban farms ( yes we have a bunch of farms in Detroit), and also some of the things people are doing on their own with so much public land & water.
