One of the most rewarding things going on in my life now is my involvement in teaching Detroit kids photography.
The end of the semester the kids will exhibit their work in some of the better galleries around town as well as The Detroit Institute of Arts (for now I can only dream of exhibiting there).
For the past few months my kids have mastered using DSLR's exclusively in manual mode, that's a skill that a lot of seasoned photographers, (myself included) have not yet mastered.
How often do you shoot in manual mode?
Mission Statement:
To document the city in an attempt to inspire an appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of Detroit, her buildings, and her people.
Speramus meliora; resurget cineribus.
We hope for better things; it will arise from the ashes.
